The one who walks amidst the seven golden candlesticks

John being in exile on the isle of Patmos; for the word of God when he received the revelation for the churches that was in Asia Minor at that time. The message varied a little from one church to the other, but you can be sure He knew what was going on in everyone of the churches. Make no mistake, you still can’t hide today. If man thinks that he can do just what he thinks is okay, I’ve got news for you. The eyes of the Lord is in every place, beholding the evil and the good. (Proverbs 15:3)
When John saw Him, Revelation 1:17, the word says he fell at His feet as dead. Please take note here, that these churches were not denominational churches as we reckon churches today. These were groups of people who had accepted the gospel that the apostle Paul had preached, yet they were supposed to be established in the faith and apparently, very obvious, some had side tracked and allowed other things to come in, and things that was supposed to be evident in the church wasn’t there. Now please take note, these messages were sent to these churches within approximately a 50 year period. Just look at the condition they were in, in such a short time. Well I am fully aware that all down through the ages, God hath raised up people to keep the message of the Gospel alive and He will until He comes to take His church home.
Look at denominational churches and compare the greater part with the church of Acts of the Apostles. You will discover something is gone astray. Remember, He is still watching His church. The church in Ephesus had left her first love. He knew where satans seat was, He knew where the spirit of Jezebel was working etc…
Just to name these, I will say without fear of contradiction, that the devil has sure got a seat today. I would like to put emphasis on this one, the spirit of Jezebel, that wicked queen spoken of in Kings. I’m going to tell you that spirit is at work on a large scale today. Church, wake up, get her out before it’s too late. It is very evident where I live and I’m sure more so world wide.
Just to finish, look at the Laodicean church, Jesus is on the outside knocking, wanting to come in. They think they don’t need anything, they think they have everything because they have built up an empire around them and really not giving it a thought, they left Jesus on the outside. He said if any man hear my voice and open up, He would come in.
You have to be listening. There are so many voices to be heard but none like His, He’s pleading, longing to gain entry. Oh there is so much to write or say, I’ll stop on this. Churches that’s gone cold, let the fire of the Holy Ghost come in and set you aflame.
By the way, the spirit of Jezebel is very much alive.
