Not a good place for thieves to be but they were there. Matthew, Mark and Luke recorded that Jesus said they the religious leaders of that day had made the temple a den of thieves. Pretty well hide away, nobody would recognize them as thieves. A good place to hide away figured nobody would find them.

You might say well that was in Jesus ay and so it was but don’t deceive yourself, that there’s more today, there is in more ways then one

Jesus said all that ever came before me are thieves and robbers but when Jesus changes a persons life they are no longer considered or should be called thieves and robbers. I’m going to deal with this subject in a little different way then you would assume.

A few days ago I walked into the largest bookstore in the world, so I was told. Having looked over some of the books that might interest me one caught my attention, “thieves in the temple” So a few thoughts began to form in my spirit. I did not buy the book, I did not read it, so I want to let my readers know should there be any that is in that book that I mention here I did not obtain it from that book. I’m just going to take time to expose some of these thieves and let them be caught.

Jeremiah 23:30

Therefore, behold, I am against the prophets, saith the Lord that steal my Words everyone from his neighbour.

Verse 31:

Behold I am against the prophets saith the Lord that use their tongues and say He saith

There is a trend today across our land when someone says I got a word for you and say thus saith the Lord. When it is not from the Lord. I am not advocating that there is no such thing as a word from the Lord but a lot that I have heard in this area is nothing but garbage. When you steal words from Gods’ Word and use them to glorify yourself then you are nothing but a thief and robbing people of the very blessing that God has for that very person – I know what I’m talking about.

Churches have been robbed of the blessing that many times been theirs through singing the old hymns of the Church and have put the hymn book out and brought in something that does not and can not and well not take it’s place.

Taking out the Blood, the Cross, Salvation and replaced it with something that sounds alight but it’s not!

The devil don’t like songs about the Blood, the Cross, Salvation but sure would like a counterfeit gospel song. Come on friend! Bring them back!

What can wash away my sin, nothing but the Blood of Jesus. To the old rugged Cross. Jesus the name high over all. Songs that when sung the Holy Spirit moved upon it and souls came to the alter and gave their life to Christ. I have listened to a lot of that, the new age has brought in and so far I have not yet recognized the Holy Spirit upon it, very much.

I have been in other parts of Canada and have discovered that the thieves have made a visitation also. In Newfoundland the lack of people in church is blamed for out migration but how would you reconcile the fact that in a community having a population of 112,000 people and on a Sunday night only 2 in the congregation. That don’t sound like people are out migrating, that sounds like the Holy Spirit has left and nothing to draw people in the church. The devil has stole the desires of the people and robbed them because leadership have so desired to go that way.

I just picked up a supposed to be a Christian magazine, in it I read that God invented Rock and Roll. It made reference to and when God rolled away the stone from the tomb of Jesus, what an insult! Listen friend, God did not roll away the stone to let Jesus out, He rolled away the stone to let the disciples in. Rock music has no place in the worship of a mighty God, creator of Heaven and Earth.

As I said earlier, I have listened to a lot of the new age singing, there is very little inspiration, it’s a way that the devil has to counterfeit and he’s doing a good job, just the same as he’s bringing in a counterfeit gospel, it looks so nice but look into it and you will discover it’s not what God wants.

Man, leadership has robbed us of the true worship of our Creator in the way that brings glory to God by accepting and adopting such ideas. Someone may say, you are a very close minded person, not at all! But I’ll tell you what, when someone can tell me that this reflects on Mark chapter 16. and you see the power of God working in the midst of it, I’ll only be to glad to accept it.

When they make room for the super bowl in the church something important is robbed from what the church intended to be. So I would say thieves get out because just as sure as you operate in some of these circles, Jesus will sooner or later upset your programs.

If you pay close attention to these songs there is very little mention of the Blood and the Cross. Some churches mention very little about the Blood of Jesus or the Cross because the devil don’t want it mentioned.

Bring back old time singing, preaching, praying and out churches will fill up and everything that goes with it!

It’s been a little while so I better keep it up. I would like to touch a little on our right, our citizenship, or our true relationship with our Creator.

Paul in writing to the Ephesians put it this way in Ephesians 2:19-22.
Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the Saints and of the household of God. Hebrews 3:6; But Christ as a Son over his own house, whose house we are. If we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end. I just wanted to lay a little foundation for the basis of our citizenship, who we are, what are our rights as born again believers.

Jesus said in Saint John’s gospel that we, referring to His church are not of this world, we are in the world but not of the world. When I received Christ, when I allowed Him to come in, I believe I became a part of another family. The Bible says if any man be in Christ he is a new creature, behold all things are passed away and all things become new. We have a hope that is sure and steadfast: that exceeds anything related to this earth. By natural birth I became a citizen of Canada, but glory to God, by the new birth I became a citizen of Heaven. Make no mistake, that’s what the Bible says.

Just for a short time, let’s go back to the Old Testament. Just take a look at the children of Israel. The twelve tribes were classified as one great family or nation and they had the same right under the law of Moses, what He promised for one He promised for all, none excluded. While they played different roles, musicians, leaders, people fitted for battle, while others stayed by the side. The one main thing within that nation was unity. I could go on here but let’s step back. We are under a better Covenant, better promises. Paul said, take heed that you don’t bite and devour one another lest ye be consumed, one of another. I don’t believe there is enough time to be bickering and banging, there’s work to be done.

Denominational systems are doing nothing less than hindering the word of God to go forth in some areas. Someone may say, it’s a greater tool to get the gospel out. I’ll just say it’s a greater tool for the enemy then for the spread of the gospel. I believe that God through the years rose up men to carry on with the gospel work, but it became too personalized, organized and socialized and not harmonized by the Holy Spirit.

One time on our cars we had generators to put back power into the battery and that did not quite do the work because sometimes it put out too much or too less. So they came up with an alternator which had a regulator built in it. When in turn, the regulator controlled the power systems so that the battery would not over charge. Let me tell you something friend. The church should never have become regulated. You might say again, you have sidestepped a little. Now let me say I’m not so naive has to think that you can’t be a member of some denomination or fellowship and not be a true born again believer, but let’s be careful that we don’t put limitations on church membership and eliminate the true citizenship as believers in Christ.

Paul said in writing to the Colossians, Salute the church that is in thy house. He was not referring to a demon he was referring to none other than born again believers whose citizenship was in Heaven.

In closing this; of course we can’t close any subject as such but to come to an end thus far. If we have been washed, sanctified, made holy through His Blood, and made partakers of Heavenly things, sat at the same table. Let’s be careful how we identify ourselves as to be in line with scripture.

Not as some said in 1st Corinthians chapter 3 which will very well back up what I said earlier in relation to demon. Paul said in verse 3 chapter 3 that they were carnal, causing strife and divisions. Why? Read verse 4 to 7.

I don’t want to leave an impression that I’m attacking anyone. I am quite aware there are a lot of good books out there, not saying this boasting, I could write a book on any subject. I just let you know where I come from.

For instance, I’ll just use figures, 3 steps to salvation. What about the thief on the cross, what about the Philipian jailer, believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved, was all Paul said to the jailer that night, not only to him but the message was to all his household. Well you know you can get this book, 7 steps to your healing. When Peter and John went up to the temple to pray. When they saw the lame man at the gate. He was asking alms, did they say ? “Well you know I have none, you should read this book on healing, well you know you should get it, it only costs $20.00″

My friend, my healing was paid for by the forty stripes my Jesus received on His back that day in Pilots judgment hall.

Yes friend, Peter said, silver and gold have I none but such as I have give I unto you in the name of Jesus, rise up and walk. The Bible says, he received strength in his ankle bones and walked.

In acts chapter 20, here Paul is preaching till late in the night, a young man fell the Bible says, and was taken up dead after falling from the upper chamber. Now what a mess up if Paul had said to him, “now young man, you have to follow 10 steps and I’ll raise you up.” Nice thing telling a dead man to follow certain steps. Come on friend get real.

One more, don’t leave me yet. Now you follow these steps to receive the Baptism in the Holy Ghost. What about Acts chapter 19? They didn’t know if there was a Holy Ghost or not, but the Bible says that while they yet spake, the Holy Ghost fell upon them and they spake with tongues as the spirit gave them utterance. Not what someone told them to speak.

Come on, I could go on but lets not make merchandise of the Gospel. Preach the Gospel in all it’s purity and power, if it don’t work try the 3,7,8,10 or whatsoever steps on yourself. God forbid, I speak the truth in Love.

I believe Gods word and very little do I dwell on except the Word. I know there are a lot that will not argue on this one.

I have dealt with most of the basics for our belief and fundamentals of the Gospel, but one of the most important I believe as someone might say. Having to repent and turn from sin and live a pure life from the world. What are the end benefits ? Well, the Bible says, (John 14:1-3) Let not your heart be troubled, ye believe in God believe also in me; in my Fathers house many mansions, if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. (Acts 1:10-11)

This has been the hope of the Church, and still is, that one day Jesus is coming back to take away a people that He has redeemed with His precious Blood. A people that look for that event to take place. He gave signs in His word to make us aware of His return, and the list goes on. (Matthew chapter 24) (Thessalonians) I will not take time to list them all, but there is enough to remind us that Jesus is coming.

Now the second event will be a meeting in the air when the saints that have been dead for centuries will arise from their graves. (Thessalonians 4:16-17) The ones that are in the graves will arise first, and we which are alive and remain, that is the Blood washed, will be caught up to meet the Lord in the air. There we shall ever be with the Lord. I’m not talking about the judgment day, in the which the world will be judged. I’m talking about the coming of the Lord, the hope of the Church. The Church is to comfort one another with these words, not on the weather forecast or who won the hockey game, or the ball game. If we have nothing else to tell on any given morning, only who won the games, then I”m afraid some will miss it.

The white throne judgement will not take place until a thousand years later. (Revelation 20:4-6) Make no mistake friend, this gospel is real. God has a plan and it doesn’t matter what you think or what you say will not change that plan.

The second event when He that is Jesus will come back with ten thousands of His saints, as recorded in Jude. His feet will stand that day on earth, on the mount of olives, where He preached so many of His sermons. On that day the mount of olives will cleave in two forming a great valley, there He will be glorified in His saints.

Friend, make no mistake, Jesus is coming back, not as a babe but a reigning King. Get ready, be part of that glorious event, when He shall be glorified in His saints.

Oh wouldn’t I love to have the chance to preach this on world wide television. Not just a savior but a reigning King. There is no end to what can be said, for He is the beginning and the end, the first and the last. I would like to end this sermonette, for the ones who don’t believe by referring to 2 Peter 3:4.

God never left anything out, He made sure we would be will informed.

Us as Christians we take things so much for granted, we go to church every Sunday; we hear some word, and thus some psychological thoughts to try and ease the minds of the troubled ones; like God will take care of the situation. While sometimes that may be true, yet the Bible says that whatsoever we bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven, and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven, so just as there is a law of sowing and reaping there is also a spiritual law of binding and loosing. (Matthew 18:18)

We take things for granted and try sometimes to make ourselves think that everybody is alike, and everybody knows. That is a wrong conception, there is a lot of people who are searching for truth, for reality. There is always that emptiness that is in the human soul until man comes in contact with the risen savior and allows the Holy Spirit presence to fill the vacuum, this man will always be in a constant search; that is why we have so many on drugs, because they are looking for something to fill the longing that is within them. People have been invited to our altars to seek for the in-filling of the Holy Spirit and sometimes have somewhat been left with the understanding that it’s a one time thing. I received the Baptism in the Holy Spirit 44 years ago, and it’s just as real today as it was then. Some may say, will I don’t really believe it like you do. Well be that as it may, how someone believes it don’t change the word, you believe it according to the word, Acts 2:4 or you don’t.

Acts 2:38-39
For the promise is to you, talking to the Jews, to your children and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

Anyone who promotes the thought that this stopped at the Apostles, I have news for you, if the Baptism of the Holy Ghost stopped at the Apostles then salvation must have stopped also. I’m sure salvation through the Blood never ceased, Glory to God! There is no other name given in Heaven or in earth where man can be saved only through Jesus Christ. (Acts 4:12) No other foundation can no man lay then that was laid. (1 Corinthians 3:11)

Jesus said, I am the door, by me if any man shall enter the Kingdom of Heaven it’s by me. He said all that ever come before me are thieves and robbers. He that climbeth up some other way is the same as a thief and a robber. He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold is the same as a thief and a robber. Let me say there is no way into the Kingdom of God but by the Blood of the Lamb. I am aware that there will be thousands read these few notes that I put on this website. I try to keep it confined to the word and as simple as the word will allow me.

There is a depth that I could go, but I am aware it could raise a lot of questions. Jesus said, the way is so plain a man tho a fool should not err therin.

Friend, take Gods word as it is, believe it, you can’t go astray in so doing. Time is running out, it’s time that men would seek the Lord because I do believe He is coming, so of which I will deal with later, maybe next time.

I would like to continue on for a little bit further in the purpose and work of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus had told them as recorded in the book of Acts: 1-8, Ye shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you; power to witness to all the world of the wonderful grace of God.

Mark Chapter 16 known as the great commission. Go ye into all the world and preach the Gospel. Verse 17, these signs shall follow them that believe, In my name they shall cast out devils and shall speak with new tongues. Verse 18, They shall take up serpents and if they drink any deadly thing it shall not hurt them. They shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover. That is the work of the Holy Spirit in the lives of the believer.

I’d like to inject here that this working of the Holy Spirit does not come in the collection plate.

1 Peter 1:18
We are not redeemed with corruptible things such as silver or gold, but with precious blood of Jesus. When Peter and John went up to the temple to pray, Acts Chapter 3; the man at the gate ask for alms. Peter fastening his eyes upon him said, silver and gold have we none but in the name of Jesus rise up and walk.

The Holy Spirit was given to equip the church, the church with Power and authority to finish the work that Jesus came for to do, that is to destroy the works of the devil. Let the Power of the Holy Spirit be manifested and you will soon find out how many devils are at work and where they are at, just recently I found that out. With all due respect to the medical department, yet they have a medical name put on a lot of them; Jesus called them by name.

Someone might say, you are gone a little off track in this area, Oh no! The church has been given the authority; Jesus said I will give you power over the power of the enemy which is the devil and all his imps. Jesus said, the thief commeth for to kill and destroy, but I am come that ye might have life, and more abundantly.

My friends, the Apostles never had time to attend to the affairs of the community, they had to give themselves over to prayer and fasting and to the word, that they might excel in that which God had called them to do. Paul said the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God, or the Holy Spirit to pulling down of strongholds. You can’t pull down the strongholds of satan in the flesh or with natural means.

Jesus said, Matthew 12:29, You don’t enter in a strong mans house to spoil his goods except you first bind the strong man; church it’s time to rise up in the Power and authority given us by the Holy Spirit. You can’t win a community that’s bound by the unseen forces by indulging in community activities. You have to allow the Holy Spirit’s Power to operate in the manner it was designed by God in the beginning.

Paul said, it’s according to the Power that worketh in us.

Some of these things can only come about by prayer and fasting and allow the same Holy Ghost that worked in the Apostles to so the same now.

To finish I’m not saying there hasn’t been anything since the apostles, I’m saying this, that this generation needs to see the Power of God at work.

The fact that Jesus is still alive; the witness was evident, He was seen of the twelve. (Acts 1:3) He showed Himself alive after His Passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them (that is the disciples) forty days, speaking of the things pertaining to the Kingdom of God.

Will I am fully aware I have only been touching base on these things pertaining to the Gospel, and the man of Galilee. I have discovered for long ago that no matter what you say; how much you try to put things together; one cannot, will not, never ever, exhaust the word.

(John 21:25) and there are also many things which Jesus did, the which if they should be written everyone; I suppose that even the world could not contain the books that should be written. I believe that there is enough to be said and proclaimed, without people having to use a psychological platform to try to win people to Christ or introduce them to the Gospel. I don’t believe that people should have to be introduced to something from Hollywood to try and solve their problems. If the word which is supposed to be effective, if that don’t do it then I would question the authority of Hollywood.

When the centurion came to Jesus, (Luke Chapter 7). When Jesus said I will come and heal his servant. He said to Jesus, I’m a man under authority, I say to one come and he commeth, to another go, and he goeth. He recognized Jesus had authority so he said speak the word only and my servant shall be healed. There is that divine authority that was given the church on the day of Pentecost and when that authority is used in it’s proper perspective, something has got to happen. We have many accounts in the book of Acts and down through the church age. The lame have been made to walk, blind eyes open, deaf ears unstopped, limbs straightened, Yes, I’ve seen it myself!

Luke gives an account that the power of God was present to heal. When the man of Galilee shows up you can be sure He doesn’t show up for nothing, but many times we miss the real purpose, many leave like they came, say we had a good service and miss what Jesus had for them. I know through experience this is mot guess work.

When God manifests His presence we should not rush and just think this is another good time. The Holy Spirit was not given for people to have a good time; even though in the presence of God we can sure feel good but don’t mistake the feel good for a move of God.

I guess I’ll have to close off this one because I have a hard time writing. I rather be speaking it out. Next time I will follow up on the Holy Spirit, it’s work and purpose, in the earth as recorded in the word.

Having set forth the bases of the Gospel namely, The Power of the Gospel, The Purpose of the Gospel, and The effects and Results of the Gospel. When the Gospel was preached by the apostles, over two thousand years ago, it went forth with power and declared under the anointing of the Holy Spirit and so down through the centuries. The word says the letter killeth but the Spirit giveth life. Jesus said, my words they are spirit and they are life.

Paul said, (Hebrews 4:12), for the word of God is quick and powerful and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit; and of the joints and marrow and is a discerner of the of the thoughts and intents of the heart. It doesn’t matter if you believe it or not, it don’t change the word and the word don’t change to suit or conform to man’s ideas or theology. The Gospel does not conform, the power of the gospel transforms mens lives, brings them out of darkness into His marvelous light. (Peter 2:9)

One who walks in the light of this gospel cannot walk in darkness. Jesus said, ye are children of the day and not of the night, then if we are children of the day we should see where we are going.

The Holy Spirit cannot, will not, never has, led anyone astray. Jesus said, when he, the Holy Ghost is come, he will guide you into all truth. Reader, few may say, how do we know who’s right and who’s wrong ? The word of God standeth sure, having this seal the Lord knows them that are His.

Paul said, even 2000 years ago, that some have already erred from the faith or turned aside from the truth of the gospel. Paul said, in writing to Timothy Chapter 4:1, the spirit speaketh expressly that in the letter times some shall depart from the faith giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils. – on to verse 2-

The Spirit of God expressed it that the times would be so when man would not except the truth of the Gospel in so doing they would be seduced by the devil himself. Back to a recent statement, who’s wrong, who’s right. The epistle of 1 John Chapter 4:1-3 Beloved believe not every spirit but try the spirits whether they are of God, because many false prophets are gone out into the world. (2) Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh if of God. One that don’t believe that Jesus came in the flesh, is not of God and this is that spirit of anti-christ.

When Jesus asked the disciples who he was, one answered, some say Elias, some say Moses while others say one of the prophets, then He brought the question home, “but who do you say that I am ?” Peter answered, and said, thou art Christ the son of the living God, Jesus answered and said, “flesh and blood hath not revealed this unto you but my Father which is in Heaven. Further more He said, Thou art Peter and upon this Rock I will build my Church. Upon Himself, He is the Rock, our hope of eternal salvation. It is He (Jesus) that this Gospel is all about.

Listen friend, this is not about a Church as such a denomination, this is about a living Christ, one who came to earth to die for fallen humanity The Bible says, For God so loved the world…..(John 3:16)

The Gospel will bring peace, restoration to any one person, nation or the world if accepted. Take God of His Word, don’t try to analyze God. Read Job Chapter 38-39. I’m sure you will see the Creator, in all his splendor.

Let God be true and every man a liar.

I have in the last two parts related somewhat to the Power of the Gospel and the Purpose of the Gospel. Now, the effects of the Gospel and results. If you take note, Acts chapter 2, relates to the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, and when the people saw and heard what had happened the preaching of the first message as we would call it, had such an effect on the people that approximately three thousand souls found salvation. That was the results thus they continued in the apostles doctrine. (Acts 2:42)

When the gospel is preached, I mean the Gospel, bedtime stories only put people to sleep. The Gospel causes people to come alive! Jesus said, my words they are spirit and they are life. Chapter 4 of Acts tells us that it had such an effect on the listeners that it caused them to turn against the apostles. The result was they laid hands on them and put them in prison. (Acts 4:3)

In Acts Chapter 16, Paul and Silas being put in prison for preaching the gospel, sang praises to God, the result was, the prison doors opened and the jail keeper God saved.

Where ever the apostles went, in most cases, they had revival or they had both revival and riot.

The effect of the gospel preached in Ephesus (Acts 19:19) is they burned all the books of magic which now some are studying instead of the gospel what they burned in Ephesus using of it’s kind to try and bring people in church.

Someone who may read this may say, do this fellow know what he is talking about? Let me say this, any preacher that tries or attempts to get this gospel to work by any other way then the pattern that God set forth, you are wasting your time! If this gospel that I speak about don’t work for anybody, a big question ?

Hebrews 13:8
Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to-day, and for ever.

If Jesus is the same, His word doesn’t change, His power doesn’t change, then what has happened? This Gospel works, it has or should have some effect in one way or another, thus ending in results when it is preached, in it’s power and simplicity. Not from a theological view point.

Let me finish this part. God is not in the rehabilitation business, He’s not in the psychiatric business, He is not in the psychology business. The Gospel transforms and renews.

If any man be in Christ, He is a new creature, old things are passed away, all things have become new

Jesus said,

Mark 16: 15-18
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues

They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Jesus never ever meant for the gospel to be socialized , neither did He mean for it to be commercialized. The whole purpose of the gospel was to preach Christ crucified on an old rugged cross that all men might be saved, those who believe and accept the gospel.

You cannot preach Christ without preaching the gospel, and you cannot preach the gospel without preaching Christ. You cannot preach the gospel without preaching the blood, the Lamb that was slain, the supreme sacrifice that was made to take away sin. You cannot preach the gospel without preaching the resurrection.

The Bible says in (Acts 2: 24-32), (Romans 10:9), (1 Corinthians 6:14) and in (2 Corinthians 4:14), that God raised Jesus from the dead. We do not preach Christ or the gospel as one who one day walked among men along the shores of Galilee, conversing among the people on the streets of Jerusalem. We preach Christ crucified on a cross, resurrected from the dead and ascended into Heaven and is seated at the Right Hand of the majesty on high.

Hebrews 1:3
Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty ob high;

Hebrews 8:1
Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens;

We preach a Christ who is alive, a gospel of a person who is not dead but liveth forever and His word, this word, abideth forever, and has not, and will not change. The gospel was to bring hope, deliverance from sin, sickness, oppression of the enemy and the list goes on. A gospel that does not liberate and set people free, it’s not the real gospel.

The purpose of the gospel is to reconcile man with his maker, thus when the gospel is preached, man will see his need of salvation.

The Bible says in,

Romans 10:13-15
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

Romans 10:17
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

So the most important is to get the gospel out, so that man can respond. Man is given a choice to accept or reject; The Bible says, to as many hath received Him, (that is Jesus), to them gave He power to become the sons of God. (John 1:12)

I will continue on this subject for a little while, next; The working of the Gospel and the effects, or results of the Gospel.
